On examination he appears irritable, his eyes are sensitive to light and his pupils are of different size. He is noted to have a purple skin rash. The most appropriate treament would include
a) Do not administer antibiotics
b) intravenous Trimethoprim/Sulfamethoxazole
c) combination of ticarcillin and gentamicin
d) combination of ceftriaxone and ampicillin
e) IM ceftriaxone plus doxycycline
