A 80year old male presents with an eight year history of proptosis of the right eye. On inspection he had bulging of the right forehead and brow with anterior displacement of the globe. Computed tomography demonstrated a large expansile cystic lesion causing thinning and erosion of the walls of the frontal sinus and displacing the orbit. The entire mass was removed. Histologic examination of the tissue fragments showed ciliated epithelium and goblet cells. A likely diagnosis is:

a) Complicated otitis media
b) Carotid-cavernous fistula
