A baby boy is delivered by forceps delivery at term. Ten days later he becomes febrile and suffers a seizure. On examination he is seen to have an abscess in the region of the scalp as well as widely disseminated mucocutaneous lesions. Cerebrospinal fluid cultures and a CT scan are negative. He recovers with supportive measures but later develops mental retardation with evidence of chorioretinitis and microcephaly. These findings are most suggestive of
