Answer :USMLE step 2 Mcq 155:A 57 year old woman has pain and burning on urination

Correct Answer: B

With sinus tachycardia, the heart rate is greater than 100 and the rhythm is a regular rhythm. Fever is one of the causes of sinus tachycardia. The heart rate increases approximately 10 beats per minute for each degree rise (Fahrenheit) in temperature. A normal sinus rhythm would have a rate of 60-100 beats per minute. With sinus bradycardia the heart rate would be less than 60. Sinus arrhythmia would show an irregular rhythm associated with respiration. In a junctional rhythm normal P waves would not be present and the heart rate would be 40-60 beats per minute.
